FAQ

Endless Round Slings FAQs

Endless round slings support vertical, basket, and choker hitches from a single sling. The continuous loop provides even load distribution and can be rotated to distribute wear across the body.

Each WLL range is assigned a standard color, allowing riggers to identify capacity instantly without checking paperwork. This reduces rigging errors and speeds up pre-lift checks.

Yes. We can supply batch Material Test Certificates (MTC) and proof-test documentation on request, supporting project quality files and third-party inspections.

Our standard endless round slings cover 1T to 1,000T WLL in color-coded sizes. Lengths are fully customizable, and we can engineer oversized capacities for heavy-lift projects on request.

Rotate the sling 90° after each lift cycle — use the tracking label on the sleeve to identify the last contact point. This ensures even wear across all four quadrants of the loop, extending service life by up to 3× compared to fixed-position use.

Sleeves can be fitted along the full length or only in wear zones to resist abrasion, cutting, and UV exposure. We also offer sleeves in contrasting colors for easy wear-point inspection.

Check the entire loop for cuts, abrasion, broken stitching, or deformation. Ensure the WLL label and standard marking are legible. Retire when in doubt: slings are cheap, the load (and lives) they protect are not. Withdraw immediately if you see cuts, abrasion, chemical damage, heat marks, missing labels, or any structural deformation.

Safety

Endless Round Sling Safety & Usage Guidelines

1
Rotate the endless loop a quarter turn between each lift so wear is redistributed across the entire circumference — the continuous loop is its key wear-spreading advantage
2
Inspect the full loop, not just one section: damage can hide on the side resting against the load
3
Never exceed the working load limit (WLL) marked on the identification tag; endless slings use the same color-coding as eye & eye rounds
4
Apply the correct hitch factor: 100% vertical, ~80% choker, up to 200% basket — endless slings are especially effective in basket hitch around smooth cylindrical loads
5
Protect the cover from sharp edges; an endless loop wrapped around a beam concentrates stress where the sling passes through itself in a choker hitch
6
Do not tie knots — endless construction means a knot damages the load-bearing core and is unnecessary for any hitch configuration
7
Operating temperature range: -40°C to 100°C for polyester; keep clear of welding arcs and molten metal splatter
8
Retire immediately if you see cuts, abrasion exposing core yarn, chemical attack, heat marks, missing tags, or cover slippage — inspect the full loop, not just the section resting against the load
