Lashing Safety & Usage Guidelines
- IMPORTANT: Lashing products are for cargo securing ONLY — never use for lifting operations
- Check lashing capacity (LC) label before each use and do not exceed rated capacity
- Inspect webbing for cuts, abrasions, UV degradation, or chemical damage before use
- Ensure hooks are properly engaged and secured to approved anchor points
- Ratchet must be closed and locked during transport — verify tension is maintained
- Use edge protectors on sharp cargo corners to prevent webbing damage
- Replace immediately if webbing is frayed, hooks are bent, or ratchet mechanism is damaged
- Comply with local transport regulations — EN 12195-2 for European markets
